Dark garnet with a bright rim…ever so slightly glass staining. Coconutty oak, oozing with rich plum, dark raspberry, blueberry jubes, a stalagmite spike of minerally graphite and floral rose petal. Medium-full bodied with a sharp thrust of high pitched acidity and a coating of fine tannin. Darkly fruited: sour cherry and just ripe plum with richer raspberry and cooling mineral lines to finish. Rich and deeply fruited, yet maintains freshness.
