Heggies Vineyard, Cloudline, Chardonnay, Eden Valley, 2018
Distinct lime/lemon citrus aromas with sweeter honey-edged notes and peach stonefruit. Some richness from oak but ’tis only a highlight. The palate gives a direct, straight ahead fruit experience: richer citrus creme elements as a base with lime juice and a unique native leafy/floral blossom overtone. It’s juicy and forthright with a fine, clean finish.
