Has a Kelpie on the label…but you know, we’re Australia, not Spain
Hastwell & Lightfoot, Tempranillo, McLaren Vale, 2017
Inky, with salty spice (cumin and dried tomato), cherries, dark choc raspberry and a hint of fennel. Offers pleasant fresh dark red fruits off-set with required savoury shade. Generous, with solid medium/full body through the mid to back palate with an unsuspecting amount of food friendly tannin. Very good value.
RRP: $25
Alc: 14%
Rating: 17.5/20
