Rockridge is a label under Reilly’s Wines Mintaro and exclusively for sale through independent bottleshop franchise Cellarbrations and independent grocery IGA. A range of whites and reds from the Clare Valley and Adelaide Hills. I’ve tasted their reds here. I’m expecting a little more from this wine as it is drawn from the hometown well

Rockridge, Watervale, Riesling, Clare Valley, 2014

All the things you want to smell: Green apples, a hint of beeswax, lime citrus, mineral water.  All the things you want to taste:  Chamomile and lemon/lime citrus along with crunchy crispy Granny Smith apple slice-like acidity make this a relatively tasty wine. Not a powerhouse in any one area but the trademark Watervale characteristics are all there. Solid.
