Yelland and Papps, Riesling, Eden Valley, 2015

3 months on lees. Chalky lemon, lime marmalade and herby ginger lift. Exciting palate with that spiced ginger and the mouth-feel of “minerality.” It’s rich and flavoured without being porked out with residual sugar. There’s all the Eden Valley bits you want…and then some more. A little grip annd  a lot of balanced acid that drives long for hot summer night drinking.
