Swinging Bridge, Mrs Payten Chardonnay, Orange, 2014
Layered nose: Macadamia nuts, sweet vanilla, ripe nectarine stone fruit and grape fruit pith.
A slightly fuller style, oak has been used to effect this mode well. Plenty of those stone fruit flavours blending with the bittersweet grapefruit citrus. Dusty phenolics provide texture. A moreish style that will cellar well, but reward a delicious roast pork.
RRP: $32
Alc: 12.9%
