Love the new addition to the RWB stud farm, a Garnacha (Spanish for Grenache) with a label flashy as a matador’s red and yellow costume.
Running With Bulls Garnacha, Barossa Valley, 2015

Deliberately joven (young)this sees no oak maturation. Bush vines and with 4% Tempranillo co-ferment, partial whole bunch and wild yeast ferment.
Looks light and inviting in the glass. Smells even better: Light rubber, juicy dark raspberry and blueberries, a little bit of medicinal oregano herb action and blood orange. Raspberry and black cherry power through with inherent spice. Just serve with any sort of slightly grilled / bbq meat.
Slurpable, delicious, drinkable…if it came in magnums it’d be more dangerous than a picador’s vara.
