From the excellent value Bella Riva range by the ever reliable De Bortoli range. The Bella Riva vineyard was planted by the family on the King River predominantly to Italian varieties in 1994.

De Bortoli Bella Riva Sangiovese Rosé, King Valley, 2015

Pale rose gold colour. Light creamy cherry notes with almost a touch of “creaming soda.” Still carries Sangiovese herbal lilt and a toasted nut note.  The easy palate brings more cherries and soft/crunchy red fruits. Food friendly acidity that would dig a lunchtime antipasto platter with plenty of salumi. Buono!
