Ballabourneen, Baile Shiraz, Hunter Valley 2014

Single vineyard, Redibar, in Broke, North East Hunter.100% French oak for 16 months. Subtle leather, violets, cherries, raspberries. Bright and lifted on the tongue, then thick-ish milky proteins and soft red fruits. Finishes tight, reined in and with small, blocky tannins. One to watch with a few years under the belt.
