A blend of the two varieties that work so well together in Margaret River, this time, coming from much further south. Name is derived from the “Two People’s Bay” on the coast of Albany.
West Cape Howe, “Two Peeps” Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon, Albany 2015
Inherently fruity: passion fruit seeds, mandarin, leafy green capsicum all cut with lemonade icy pole. Acid hound city. Driving, dry and intense. This is where the Semillon shines razor sharp like a young turk, counter balanced with a textural element of partial barrel ferment. Not a wishy-washy forget about it wine, there’s plenty of palate length. Yet again, WCH produce a great value wine.
