Climbing are the mid-tier pricing for Cumulus wines, one of Orange region’s biggest producers. Old French oak maturation for 12 months.

Climbing, Cabernet Sauvignon, Orange 2014

black currant, black berry, brambly stalks, oak shavings with hints of vanilla pod and a savoury, cooling note.  Dark, savoury blackcurrant, not a lifted  cordial. restrained, almost muted fruit. Feels cool in the mouth with a touch of mint. Fine gauze like tannins, acid is medium. A good darker alternative and not relying on oak/ripeness.
