When you think of Coonawarra Cabernet, more often than not you expect a blocky tannic night-mare, not this pony club-esque early starter. Made for your comfort and immediate enjoyment.
Rymill The Yearling Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, 2014
Bluegum eucalypt pod overlays rich cassis/syrupy black currant nose with a hint of leaf. Damson plum, light blackcurrant and soft tannins. Solid mouth feel: As Coonawarra should be, but without going to extremes. This is drinkable now, especially with any mid-week steak dish, or even a warm lamb salad.
RRP: $15
Alc: 14%
