Wow. Here’s some serious heft. Pine needles, deeply perfumed plum and grape berries, some bitter tonic herbs and earthy freshness. Full bodied, unctuous palate. Some slight raisin fortified notes, before strong plum and a delicious finish of black raspberry. Doesn’t finish with any heat or burn. Serious quality vintage fortified wine.
