Semillon is far more regarded in Hunter Valley and Margaret River, but there’s a strong beating heart in the Clare Valley.

Honey gold colour in the glass, showing its barrel fermentation origin. Full nose: Mealy, buttered multi-grain toast, lemon crème brûlée and toffee crisp with wok-fried lemongrass. Palate of sweet lemon drop lollies with honey and rich grilled limes. Still textural, grippy with a rich warming finish. A little opulent and a little decadent, match with a rich citrus dessert and enjoy.
