Kalleske, Greenock Shiraz, Barossa Valley 2015

American and French oak. Plenty of varietal plums, choc and licorice with a touch of crushed ants and plenty of white pepper. Deliciously balanced in youth between exuberant fruit and fresh oak. Layers of red/dark fruit that effortlessly glide through the palate. There’s fuzzy little tannins that settle neatly like a blanket and augur well for ageing potential. Very good.
