Gartelmann, Wilhelm, Shiraz, Hunter Valley 2014
16 months oak maturation in new and 1-3 year hogsheads. Lifted raspberry red fruit with easy vanilla oak, spiced cloves and black pepper. Friendly, soft palate with plenty of ripe red fruits and sweet oak. There’s some good value dusty Hunter qualities and a little bit of grip. Easy going bound and won’t offend too many.
