Named after Vittorio’s nickname for his childhood sweetheart Giuseppina. I’m married to a half-Italian woman. Vittorio, I hear you amica.
De Bortoli, La Bossa, Pinot Grigio, Riverina, 2015
Fresh, yet soapy smells. Easy pear and citrus pith nose with a hint of red strawberry. Similar palate to the nose with okay limey citrus cut. A touch of spice and 4.5% barrel fermentation enough to keep it above others at the price. It’s Pinot Grigio without too much thought, but certainly put together with quality.
RRP: $9.99
