Rosato style of wine. Good looking packaging, mask of Venice adorns the sleek bottle with its Stelvin Luxe cap. Alongside its release ‘cousin’ the Rogers and Rufus, this seems primarily targeted at the female demographic.
La Maschera, Rosé of Granaxia, Barossa Valley 2016
Very soft rose gold in the glass. Relaxing and assuring aromas of strawberry yoghurt, raspberry fruits and white peach ice tea. The inclusion of a small amount of sangiovese brings tart cherry to the grenache’s raspberry. The finish is dry and clean with grapefruit like citrus acidity. Pleasant enough for a second glass on a hot day.
