De Bortoli, Deen Vat Series No 6, Verdelho, Riverina 2015

9 months on lees. Solid, varietal nose: Pretty white star jasmine florals, soft tropical melon and a faint nutty Manzanilla-edge. Slightly creamy and rich texture thanks to that extended time on lees. Rich yellow melon and soft peach fruit mixes all urged along with spice and balanced acidity. Bound to be found cheaper. Bargain alert if you like Verdelho
