This is a cellar door only special and I’ve been advised that they’re trying to make room to store the 2016 Chardonnay so it’s currently selling for less than the RRP.
Deviation Road, Chardonnay, Adelaide Hills 2015
Just whipped double cream with a vanilla essence sweetness, nutty popcorn, grilled peach slices, pickled ginger and a tiny hint of bruised apple (acetaldehyde?). Almost orange like citrus before barrel characters of nutty and woody spice. Stone fruit mid palate and finishes long with bright acidity. Fruit driven with a good amount of wine making artifice.
RRP: $45
Alc: 12%
