Sweet and bright, Moscato with its lower alcohol (due to the stopping of the fermentation process to retain plenty of natural sugars) is a favourite of the younger female wine drinking audience. The grape varietal is actually Muscat a Petit Grains Rouge for the wine nerds out there.
Seppeltsfield, Moscato, Barossa, 2016
Almost flamingo pink. Sweet nose of pink marshmallow, blood orange and musk sticks. Not an alcopop, it over delivers with crisp balanced sweet red apple, musk, Turkish delight and Creaming Soda. Serve it up as a match for summer berry desserts.
RRP: $18 (500ml)
Alc: 11.5%
