Jacob’s Creek Barossa Signature Chardonnay 2016

The bigger sibling in this range. Interestingly, this is marked as “Barossa” from a regional perspective, when I would have thought the majority would have come from the Eden Valley….but obviously not.

Jacob’s Creek, Barossa Signature Chardonnay, 2016

Cashew and smoke, peanut oil, just ripe stonefruit and lemon rind . Feels  little warm and full on the palate but the acidity is well judged, and it aligns the French oak influenced grapefruit and nectarine flavours. Good option for tempura battered fish or a takeaway roast chook.

RRP: $19.99
Alc: 12.3%
