Put together by Rob Quenby as viticulturist and his partner in the “risky business,” John Waldron as vintner.
Risky Business, Shiraz Grenache Tempranillo, Margaret River, 2015
Tight berry aromas before pepperberry spice, iodine, tree bark, blackcurrant jam and toasty oak.
Blended for drinkability, blueberry, blackberry and a little slippery glycolic lubrication for good times. Requisite tannins that herbed tempranillo echo with a cold drip coffee bitterness. Not trying to be complicated but achieving great results.
RRP: $25
Alc: 14.5%
