Huntington Estate are certainly one of the leading lights in the Mudgee wine scene. I just wish they’d look to a change of labeling and bottle stock as the packaging doesn’t do justice to the juice within.
Huntington Estate, Barrel Fermented, Chardonnay, Mudgee, 2016
Cashewy oak, grilled fig, pineapple core, grapefruit with sweet nutmeg spice. Well balanced oak and bright fruit, has good drive and intent. Good value for those that want some spice and wood to match racy lines.
RRP: $24
Alc: 13.5%
