Ara, Single Estate, Pinot Noir, Marlborough, 2014
Fresh raspberry, baked cherry, twigs, herbs and prosciutto salty meatiness. South Island New Zealand sinewy and fine tannins supporting the red fruit spectrum. Polished and smooth mouth feel. Has enough pinosity to say “yeah, that’s pinot” but lacking any real x-factor to wow you. A pleasant drinking wine nonetheless.
RRP: $19.99
