Part of a line up of pinot noirs for a blind tasting.  Sourced from the Quarry Ridge vineyard in Kilmore, which is pretty much dead 60 kilometres north of Melbourne, Victoria.

A good combo of herby thyme, red fruit and savoury, rocky meaty qualities. Quality, delicate raspberry fruit and cherry bent with a fine but firm tannin structure. Good pinosity and intensity with lingering smoky meat goodness.
