Produced by Wine Unplugged. Winemakers are Nina Stocker and Callie Jemmeson. Fruit from the Whorouly vineyard the the Alpine Valley region, planted by Tim and Mark Walpole (of Fighting Gully Road) in 1989.

The Cloak, Sangiovese, North East Victoria, 2016

Chocolate nibs, fresh leather gloves, blackberry juice, cherry skin. Juicy and bright. Bounces nicely between deep cherry and brighter raspberry. A little polished and satiny before toothsome, almost chewy tannins (but no overwork of jaw required). Finishing with bitter cola essence. A sensuous and supple, easy drinking wine to wrap yourself up in.
