From a ridiculously small harvest (0.5 tonne per hectare) and tasted blind in a Pinot line up. Created by Patrick Eckel and Mark Bretherton.
Over The Way, Longview Creek, Pinot Noir, Sunbury, 2016
Iodine, leather, lipstick, black cherry, sappy with slightly obvious oak. The raspberry fruit is a little thin towards the finish as drying tannins dominate. Has good character but feels slightly underdone.
