Baily & Baily, Venture, Chardonnay, Margaret River, 2016

Light gold colour in the glass. Clean smells of straw, hessian, fresh packaging, soft white peach, starfruit and nutty oak influences. Medium bodied palate: preserved lemon rind across that white stonefruit base with slightly flabby acidity. Finish is a little short. Showing some good varietal notes, but ultimately you get what you pay for.
