This is the younger brother of the Graveyard, made using fruit from the young vines and some declassified fruit from the 1968 vines.
Brokenwood, Shiraz, Hunter Valley, 2015
Classy oak aromas lead the way to elegant red and cool blue fruits. Cherry, baked quince and a Turkish delight hint. There’s a delicious brambly herby savouriness adding spice and character. Medium bodied, with elegance and class. Wonderfully balanced, the tannins are sublime with immediate super appeal. Great stuff.
