The sun is finally starting to consistently keep its nose out and the air is gradually staying warmer….time for rosé. This only the second release from Rymill and guaranteed to be a seller. 100% Merlot.

What strikes first is the colour in the glass: very pale salmon with a bright heart, almost rose gold in full light. Captivating nose of watermelon, blood orange, strawberry, musk sticks and a steely austerity. Unfortunately the steely austerity follows through to the palate. There’s a light amount of grip, spice and expected pleasant red fruits but ultimately it feels quite neutral. Okay value for the price.
