I like nearly everything about this wine. Style, flavour, packaging; pretty much everything except the price. If only it was available for a few dollars less, it’d be one of the best quaffers around. As it is, it still ranks pretty high.
Longview, Fresco, Nebbiolo, Adelaide Hills, 2017
The bottle shot doesn’t do the label justice: art deco kaleidoscope at its best. The squat, broad shoulder perfect for the dinner table. Sub-labelled: Vino Novello and without oak influence: this bursts with cherries, raspberry, deep cabbage rose, kola nut and tobacco. Crunchy, juicy, fun.
RRP: $36
