Claymore Wines, Joshua Tree, Riesling, Clare Valley, 2017
Smack bang. This is riesling. Lime juice, lime zest, apple skin and just the right of chalky talc. Just enough minerally texture without interrupting the intent and the balanced acidity ensuring immediate enjoyment. Medium length of flavour which ticks all the right riesling boxes: limes and apples and some sweeter citrus zing. No fear of the unknown here, just a well put together riesling.
