Comes with a gold sticker advising of a gold medal at the “Bragato Wine Awards 2017.”  Yet again, I had to do a little bit of research on this. Does the average Australian consumer care about this wine award?

Toi Toi, Pinot Gris, Marlborough, 2017

A pale yellow colour, definitely no skin contact here. Varietal aromas of pears, apples and some meatier tones of salty roast chicken chips/crisps. Carries some palate weight, bordering on an oily texture, with pear and white peach stonefruit. Flavour finishes short and the acids continue to tingle after the fruit has gone. Uncomplicated and very safe.
