Made with fruit sourced entirely from the ‘Russell Road’ vineyard, in the Frankland River region of Great Southern, Western Australia

West Cape Howe, Shiraz, Frankland River, 2016

Opens with coconutty and mocha oak, before dark clove, black pepper spices and tight fruits of plums and loganberries. Medium bodied with silky, light tannins that support plenty of fruit-strap like berry flavours and ruby grapefruit acidity. The fun is definitely in the flavour, rather than a complex, layered wine.
