Matriarch & Rogue, Alice, Shiraz, Clare Valley, 2016

Black tea, moist earth, baked quince, blood plums, bramble, blackberry, warm woody and Chinese 5 spice with a touch of raisin. Contrasting smooth and bittersweet palate. Fine, sharp almost shard like tannin spikes through earthy savoury floor covered with sweeter plum, cherry and boysenberry, through to a medium to long finish.
