The light weight bottle is noticeable, the “Lean and Green” trademark results in a 21% drop in glass content. Every little bit matters.
West Cape Howe, Shiraz, Western Australia, 2016
Toasty, warming charry chocolate drops with ginger, plum, blueberry and red licorice/rubber. The palate is supple, smooth and balanced. Gosh, hard to fault this wine with clove spiced plums, chocolate and navel orange citrus acidity. Tannins are fine if not terribly complex. Simply an enjoyable, just full bodied shiraz.
