The Isabel Estate wines are distributed in Australia exclusively by Woolworth’s liquor and to be found at their Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores. Chief winemaker Jeremy McKenzie oversees a quality line of production.

Isabel Estate, Pinot Gris, Marlborough, 2017

With more than a nod to Alsace, this Pinot Gris offers a powerful display of ginger, brown pears, honeysuckle, apples and light rosewater sweetness. The rich palate, awash with layers of fruit (nectarine, pears, red apples) remains underpinned with a stony minerality. Maybe a hint of residual sugar provides a silky overlay to the finish. Structured and very well made.
