The biggest of Hardy’s HRB release. The HRB of course, stands for Heritage Reserve Bin and continues Hardy’s philosophy of blending the right grapes from the right regions to make a quality wine.
Hardy’s, HRB D670, Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, McLaren Vale, Frankland River, 2015
3 powerful wine making regions wrapped together to create an expressive, statuesque Cabernet with near perfect dark black and red fruit that seems ebullient, alive. The right amounts of everything: savoury elements of tobacco leaf and olives with oak work that gives smoky, nutty brackets wholly supported by interlocking tannin. A 25 year plus prospect to age or balanced perfectly for right now. An excellent wine.
