Taltarni, Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pyrenees, 2016
Elegantly spiced and fruited. Blackberry and black currant alongside dusty violets with distinct leafy herbaceous notes, varietal young eucalypt and cedary oak. Deliciously blue fruited on the palate with rich chocolate, the palate is medium bodied with dusty, drying tannins. The oak lends a slightly spicy element to complete the deal. It’s elegant and a little restrained for now, yet will progress slowly, surely.
