West Cape Howe, Cabernet Sauvignon, Western Australia, 2016
Fragrant and punchy with lifted blackberry, blackcurrant, black cherry, sweet oak and dark beer aromas. Tannin structure is a little simple, while easy quality black fruit sit amply, sweetly on top with a pleasant lingering cherry finish. Definitely tastes like Cabernet. More than serviceable for the price.
