This is Singlefile’s flagship red cuvee. Sourced from the Riversdale vineyard. 2 weeks cold soak with “minimum pump overs” before 4 weeks “gentle,” extended maceration. 65% matured in new Bordeaux French oak barriques for eighteen months, 25% in one-year-old and 10% in two-year-old oak.

Such a colour! Deep cherry-baked dessert with sweet plums, blackberry, attractive perfumed violets and a tobacco leaf heart. Dark chocolate and coffee/mocha with ripping tannins underpinning layers of slick black fruit complemented by fresh bay leaf and bitter herbs. Power, opulence and excellence.
