Brash Higgins, CHN, Chenin Blanc, McLaren Vale, 2017

Like no other Chenin in the land it has hallmarks some of the old, aged Vouvray’s I’ve been lucky enough to try, yet maintains freshness and brightness. Apple, honey, radish, barley sugar and fresh hay bales. Vibrant acidity cutting through a soft, yet textural wonderland with a salted lemonade like finish. I can imagine this will polarise some drinkers, but gets the points for uniqueness and intrigue.
