2018 marks the 20th release of this wine and we see a change in senior winemakers as Marnie Roberts departs for her own ventures. Nathan Norman takes over the reins after being the assistant winemaker. Sourced from 3 estate sites in the Watervale area of the Clare Valley.
Claymore Wines, Joshua Tree, Riesling, Clare Valley, 2018
A floral release: Chamomile, mandarin citrus and lime blossoms intermix with lime cordial. Familiarity in austerity. Chalky and slaty with a musk kiss and punctuated by the citrus: tart limes and sweeter mandarin. Focused, fine and dry. Long, lingering pleasant tail.
