Another in the Y Series range that is Wild Ferment and Vegan friendly.*

Yalumba, The Y Series, Chardonnay, South Australia, 2018

Smells like chardonnay. Good thing. Gives plenty of peachy stonefruit (fuzz and slices), yellow melon, grapefruit, green nettle with light Jersey caramel and nougat. Palate continues with the grapefruit and peach over subtle nutty spice. Tropical fruits give modicum of sweetness before a clean, tight medium finish of greenish acidity.  Still well made, but at the bottom of the Y Series Whites for me.
