Part of a new range, the “Farm Series,” for Robert Stein, The Farm Series caricatures were created by the local Mudgee artist, Sam Paine, giving a unique vision of the animals that are found on the Stein farm in Mudgee. The love of all things pink has not abated.

Just medium-rare salmon in colour. Delicate aromas of light cherries, red currants, blood orange and musk. Lightly fruited, dry and with just heads into food friendly texture, it’s a little unsure of itself and a touch on the thin side. I understand this is an entry level wine, and there’s no mistaking the balance for sure, but I’d like either a little more fruit or a little more grip.
