Stockman’s Ridge, Outlaw, Chardonnay, Orange, 2016

Barrel fermented with a soft golden colour. Oak is evident on the nose pushing cedary spice along with yeasty, leesy components of cream, cashew. Citrus notes intermix to give lemon biscuit. Textural, with worked influences, the palate benefits from the 800m high vineyard with a strong pulsing acid line and almost saline minerality. Citrus fruits of lemon, grapefruit and a touch of lime.
