Taylors Estate Pinot Gris 2017

A little bit of Adelaide Hills fruit now into the traditional Clare Valley base, excuse the bottle image. Winemaker is Adam Eggins.

Taylors Estate, Pinot Gris, Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills, 2017

Punchy aromas of varietal pomme fruits: pear flesh and spiced apple, along with a baked fruit pie crust and yellow stonefruit. Hints of candle wax also. Carries good weight through the palate, definitely into the truer Gris spectrum. Soft fuller fleshed fruits with a hint of peppery spice, kept in line with cooler climate acidity. Balanced and on target.
