Plastered with little gold stickers from both Australia and overseas.
Shaw Vineyard Estate, Shiraz, Canberra, 2015
Has the juxtaposition of previous vintages with savoury earthy and floral elements battling out over toasty, drinking chocolate sweetness. Black olive slickness with black pepper spice and meaty flesh. The palate a focused exposition of slick cool blue/black fruit with a tight knit tannin structure. Enveloped by mocha and spice, it finishes bright and juicy. Complex, yet approachable.
