Longview The Piece Shiraz 2016

The Piece Project by Longview Vineyard is a celebration of street art that ultimately becomes the label for the wine. This year’s winning work by Morris Green is postcard like in its cuteness; Attenborough-esque in its correctness. Flagship shiraz. Packaging in extreme. Diam.

Longview, The Piece, Shiraz, Adelaide Hills, 2016

Concentrated, focused nose: cool blue fruits with black fruit depth and fig paste. Oak is sexy with green peppercorn spice. Not overblown, almost restrained despite the extroversion. Graphite/minerally, gauze sheets of tannin under plum flesh. Suave. Cool. This knows who it is without having to overplay its hand.

RRP: $90
